Oil contamination is one of the major causes of machine component failure. Oil can be contaminated when it leaves the refinery, during transportation, or during transfer into the user’s tanks. More often than not, it is the manner in which the oil is stored by the user that results in new oil contamination. Large oil drums may appear sturdy and impenetrable, but they are extremely sensitive and can become contaminated quickly. All those tiny contaminates that get into the clearances and destroy expensive machinery. Detecting hidden contaminants is never easy. The eye test is not exact and taking a sample to a laboratory is not efficient.
Just like when wineries test the wine directly in the barrel, Brumal’s solution to this costly problem is a highly innovative “Oil Thief”. Our “Oil Thief” device lets frontline staff extract a sample from an oil drum and provide instantaneous testing results. Employees will quickly know if the lubricant is safe to use or if it will require filtration. Chief Executive Officer
Ayodeji has 19 years oilfield experience with Chevron. He has worked in both Nigeria and in the Gulf of Thailand, which helped him develop excellent technical expertise in the oil industry. He achieved a Bachelor of Engineering, majoring in Mining Engineering and a Diploma in Petroleum Engineering from Federal University of Technology in Nigeria. He later went on the accomplish a Master of Science, Project Management from Curtin University in Perth, Australia.
